Worst shop ever. Been going here for few years. I thought i had a good relationship with the owner... EVERYTHING THAT... THIS SHOP EVER DID WAS WRONG. They have no idea how to fix modern vehicles and they dont care. Stripped my aluminnum oil pan and instead of owning up his mistake they forced in oversized steel bolt AND MOREOVER made fun of me worrying about my vehicle. Well, i love my truck and i dont plan on replacing it every 3 years. They dont care. I payed for my walve cover gasket replaced because my cylinoids were leaking... now i have to re do it only a year later BECAUSE NEWS FLASH: my cylinoids are drained in oil AGAIN... when i tried addressing this with Jon he just put sime kind of seal and put it back in.. NEVER GO TO THIS SHOP. DISHONEST PEOPLE. AVOID THIS ESTABLISHMENT AT ALL COST. And listen if you cant fo the job or font know how, just say it. Not Jon and his team though. They will take your money, ruin your vehicle and will not acknowledge their mistakesread more

Jon's was recommended to me by a trusted retired mechanic so I went in feeling very hopeful. I was not let down. I had... just bought a used car which needed both major components replaced, a COMPLETE a/c job. Jon got it done in 24 hours ($1,600, not a ripoff - a/c work unfortunately is not cheap). About 6 weeks later, I thought there was a problem as the air seemed to not be blowing cold. My husband called over there and Jon was ALL OVER IT. He wanted me to bring it in IMMEDIATELY for diagnosis. Turned out everything was fine. It's been 4 months and no problems whatsoever. Operator error on my part apparently but the point is Jon was ON IT! South Florida is very well known for sketchy mechanics so I am happy to recommend Jon's as not being THAT place!read more

I cannot express how happy I am to have found Jons shop.I have an amazing 2013 Kia Rio that had some ac issues since... moving back to Florida (in the middle of summer no less). I first brought it to Midas on sunrise blvd and after much back and forth they told me I had to replace my whole ac system which would be around $1,600. I had a bad feeling, so I looked elsewhere.Jon’s auto came highly recommended by a friend and had great google reviews, so I called. Immediately Jon answered and called the other shops bluff. Immediately diagnosed the issue just based on what I said over the phone. Just after our 10 minute conversation, I felt that I could trust him.We brought it in and he was honest, quick and knew exactly what was wrong, but did mention that something could come up during the repair, but he doubted it. He quoted me $670.When I went to pick up my car he said, “wait, I have to show you the leak from the condenser” and ran to go get it. As pictured, he found the exact leak.Here we are about a month later and 0 issues.I am so pleased with Jon’s work, communication and quality that he is now my go to mechanic. His shop is clean, well organized and tidy.He takes such pride in his business and work that when I asked to take this picture of him in the shop, he immediately tucked in his shirt and stood up tall like an owner who is truly proud of his business.I highly recommend Jon and his staff for any of your car needs and especially AC issues.Thanks Jon!read more

I had my AC start to die on me, and got several estimates for a new compressor, the most astounding one being $2k for... the work from a national chain.I was referred to Jon by a coworker, who has worked with him and said he was fair and honest, and not something found much these days.I took my car for an evaluation, and he did it so promptly, and fixed the issue the same day (which was NOT a compressor and instead the valve).I will definitely recommend Jon and his business, for his honesty, and quality of work!read more

this review is looooong overdo.I was directed to Jon's Auto Air by a trusted (now retired tech) over 2 years ago for... my AC problem.Right out of the gate, the cleanest shop I have ever seen and I served in the Marine Corps and had my Hummer serviced a lot! This shop was as clean and organized, I'll dare say even moreso!Long story short I had a good conversation with Jon and he got right on it. Investigated, researched and diagnosed the problem.Explained in detail what was going on and what I needed and was clear on pricing. Very very fair pricing for GREAT work!It's been over 2 years and it is still freezing in my car, LOVE IT.I've stayed in touch with Jon because he is a solid guy doing solid work and with integrity at that.Here is follow up, I called Jon because my vehicle had died. he asked questions and listened intently and though they do some light mech work he recommended me to a place that was nearby that had done good work for another client of his. WHO DOES THAT!?I trust Jon and he told me to call him back if I thought or felt their diagnosis a little off. I cannot say enough about Jon, his character and his doing the right thing for his folks. A true gem this guy.Put your apprehensions aside, open up and let Jon help you.You owe it to yourself.read more

Can’t say enough good about my experience today. Spoke to the owner Jon yesterday, who took the time to explain all... aspects of my problem, then made arrangements to go to his shop the next morning.On arrival, I was taken right in, problem analyzed and fixed in no time flat.The expertise, professionalism and downright friendliness is a refreshing contrast from a depressing majority of dealerships I’ve been to in the past. Oh yeah this place is good, very good mechanic, he always pretty busy, so if you have A/C problems do it now or before... the heat strikes, he fill your A/C up checks if there is any leaks and me coming from a guy that barely uses a mechanic because i fix most of my stuff, is hard for me to trust a mechanic at all, but he even offer to install my A/C when i engine swap my car, and is a import, he looks like the type of domestic guy, but he work on your car no problem, he is cool as well, best mechanic in this area 100%.. hard to find a good mechanic now in days.read more

Shopped around for a busted A.C. condenser at 7 different auto repair places including the dealership, Tire Kingdom... and Pep Boys. I am thrilled to be able to say that Jon's Auto Air quoted us the best price and the work was done in a short period of time. We have saved over $500 than what the dealership and about ($275/$150 less than others) had asked for. Jon seemed 'straight to the point' and has a network of other auto related repairs in his vicinity. Thumbs up from us!read more

Fantastic experience!! Jon diagnosed the AC problem in my Jeep Grand Cherokee over the phone just by listening to my... fiancé describe the issue. He ordered the parts, I made my appointment, and was in and out of there in less than 45 minutes. Super helpful, professional, and fair. I will absolutely be back for any future car problems and highly recommend his shop!read more

Jon and his associate Adam did a great job of basicly rebuilding my whole AC system front to back.Did a great job and... did everything plus found some other problems they also fixed along the way.They're courteous and will explain everything to you and have no problem answering questions as well.I highly recommend them and my brother just had some work done as well.read more

One of the few honest mechanics I've ever found. He was honest in diagnosing the problem and presented me with multiple... options for the repair. His shop is spotless and he's very punctual. He even has the ability to build lines/pipes if your car is old and parts are hard to find. Highly recommend!read more

I had Jon work on the A/C in my classic car. He charged me almost $700. the first visit. On the way home, I could feel... the A/C was not cold. I made a second appointment. I was charged almost $300. but when I picked up my car, the A/C was still barely cold (on a 75 degree day!).Jon was very courteous but his repair work was entirely worthless. Jon's cost me about $1,000 for no value received. I am very disappointed with John's Auto Air.read more

Jon is the most honest, skilled, and helpful guy in the business. Even if he doesn't take on your job, he recommends... someone who will. I have been to Jon's Auto Air 4 times over the years with my old dodge truck. Jon (and Adam) are extremely competent... and helpful. I finally had to bite the bullet today and have my evaporator coil and compressor replaced. They knocked it out in one day knowing that my truck was my ride home from work. Thanks guys! Jon's Auto Air is the best auto repair shop I've ever been in! Jon is so helpful and kind and competent. He explained... everything. While my daughter and I waited quite some time for our ride to arrive, he offered us cold water and a snack. The repair was done properly and promptly. The cost was reasonable.
